Arthur Bernier is Founder and President of Access Sports, which provides marketing and corporate consultancy services, manages and implements large scale charity golf events In 2006, Access Sports created the Hilton HHonors Charitable Golf Series which now takes place at multiple venues throughout the country and culminates in the Finale Event at The Riviera Country Club. Additionally, the company manages the Los Angeles Lakers annual Celebrity Invitational golf event featuring the attendance of the entire team, and coordinates golf events for Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. In 2013, the combined events raised c raised over $800,000 for various charities including the American Red Cross, City of Hope, Lakers Youth Foundation and Make-A-Wish Foundation. Over the course of his career, Bernier has raised over $50,000,000 in sponsorship.
Through Access Sports, Bernier has also introduced and oversaw several corporate sponsor partnership agreements with the Los Angeles Lakers. Internationally, Access Sports identified and secured the venue for Visa Olympic hospitality area during the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Previously, Bernier served as Director of Marketing for AMG Sports in Beverly Hills, where he had direct responsibility for strategic marketing for Pete Sampras and a number of leading NBA players. Prior to AMG, Bernier worked as Senior Vice President for Advantage International, where he generated $17,000,000 in sales for the 1999 Cricket World Cup. Bernier started his career with NBC SuperSports in Europe, overseeing the sale of advertising for all NBC Sports programming in Europe and Asia, including the sales and marketing for World Cup of Golf events held in the Caribbean, China (Mission Hills Golf Club), South Africa, Spain and the United States.
Bernier has key relationships in China, and wide ranging global sports marketing experience including work with Olympic sponsors and National Governing Bodies at ten Olympic Winter and Summer games.
